Michael McDevitt

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Queensland Institute of Technology (now known as Queensland University of Technology). He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1986 and to the High Court of Australia in 1987.

Michael successfully obtained his mark of excellence as an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law from the Queensland Law Society in 1999. He joined Rogalski Lawyers as a Senior Associate in 2024 and brings with him a wealth of experience in personal injury law.

Throughout his career, Michael has focused especially on acting for people injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, assault, abuse, and many other scenarios regarding people who might be unaware of their rights. This drives Michael to always achieve satisfying and regarding outcomes for all.

Whilst Michael fights fearlessly for his clients, he also takes a common-sense approach to litigation. He carefully listens to ensure that each person is heard, and helps put people at ease by explaining the law in plain English.

Michael has been involved with several community and business groups, with sporting interests and hobbies that include Australian Football (Richmond Football Club), cricket, and photography. With years of experience and his empathetic, humane approach to fighting for all clients, Michael is a trusted advocate within the legal community as well as a valued member of the Rogalski team.
