This year the heart and lungs will be working hard together in the lead-up to this year’s Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation Cardiac Challenge!
Martin Rogalski of our firm will be riding 333 kilometres from Cairns to Cooktown from 25 to 27 September to raise funds for cardiac and respiratory services in the North Queensland hospital system.
Funds raised will go towards a ventilator for cardiology, a lung function testing system and an endobronchial ultrasound system for respiratory. This new equipment will be of enormous assistance with investigating and treating those with cardiac and lung conditions including inflammation, infections and cancer such as lung cancer and mesothelioma. Those who experience chest related symptoms can be investigated quickly, diagnosed and treated as effectively as possible.
