About Kristy
Kristy Kersten is a lawyer at Rogalski Lawyers, acting on asbestos and other dust disease claims. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer in 2021, and before joining the firm she worked at a busy general practice law firm.
Kristy graduated from Griffith University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Government and International Relations, and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2021.
Before her legal career, and while studying for her qualifications, Kristy facilitated peer assisted study sessions at Griffith University and volunteered at the Refugee Association of Logan.
Throughout her studies and her career, Kristy has had a keen interest in history, which complements her work in asbestos litigation, where a claim often turns on reconstructing what happened on a worksite decades ago.

How Kristy works
Kristy is passionate about compensation law and about the people she acts for. She keeps clients informed at each stage of a claim, so they know where their matter stands and what happens next.
